Has anybody else noticed how impressive Rodgers and the offense has been on 3rd down? So i did some research



Rodgers third down stats:

32/47 68cmp% 559 yards 11.89YPA 4 touchdowns 136 passer rating.

21 of those completions were for first downs.



Rodgers on 3rd&long:

13/23 142 yards 56.5cmp% 6.17 YPA 3.0 sacks 74.9 qb rating

3rd&med:

14/19 283 yards 73.7cmp% 14.90YPA 3TD 0 INTS 3.0 sacks 155.2 qb rating

3rd&short:

6/7 138 yards 85.7cmp% 19.71 YPA 1TD 0 INTS 0 sacks 158.3 qb rating

3rd&0-2:

6/6 138 yards 23 YPA 1TD 158.3 qb rating.




Whatever the offense is doing different on 3rd downs, its working.

If only the Packers could cut down on some of the penalties and sacks and keep the 3rd down manageable this offense could be even more scarier.

3rd down is crucial, especially in the WCO.
My biggest problem is the D getting beat on 3rd and longs. Especially against the Queens. They had Bigby out in that game though.
